disconnect and reconnect
This past month has been an adventure.
And it may be a good time to note that not all adventures are good.
Today is my 24th day in the hospital, fighting a disease I didn't know I had, being away from my home and family, losing weight like I never thought possible. It's certainly been a roller-coaster ride of emotions...
Seems though, as usual for me, I've come out on the bright side of things. While this hasn't been in the least bit fun, it has been enlightening. It has highlighted and underlined the important things in life again... my relationships, my priorities, myself and my health (both physical health and mental).
Whatever life throws at you, you are given a choice. What you choose to do with what is thrown at you is what really makes the difference.
Talk to you soon.
