I have a daughter

And all the challenges that come with having a little girl in the house. She asks me to paint her nails, brush her dolls hair, and is totally a control-freak when it comes to picking out her clothes. And she's two. Yup, just two.
She is a smaller version of me - not physically, but cognitively, emotionally, and behaviourally. Me x 10!!! I wouldn't change a thing about her (well, not on most days!) because all the things that drive me crazy now are going to grow and mature into such great package. She really and truly will be all that and a bag of chips!!
So I take deep breaths, and I count to 10, and sometimes 20.
I choose my words carefully, knowing that she hears me, even when she pretends not to.
She is smart. She is strong. She is kind (most of the time) and compassionate. She is beautiful, inside and out.
She is bringing out the little girl in me that I didn't know existed.
Talk to you soon.

I'm trying to figure out how we managed a twin swap in utero....?
