There really is something quite lovely about doing simple things.
















Like going to a pumpkin patch to get pumpkins, rather than driving to Loblaws to get one.

Pete's-U-Pick Pumpkins has become a tradition in our family... 3 years and counting!! Come to think of it, it may be our only tradition!!!

Every year it rains. Every year we get cold and wet. Every year we go to Tim Horton's for coffee first, and then McDonald's for lunch afterwards. Every year we buy more pumpkins than our family will carve, and every year Dan carves at least two of them.

Every year. How nice those words sound together.
