Kerplunk
Now that my kids are getting bigger and increasingly interactive, much fun can be had with treasures from the toy shelf at Grandma's house. My mother-in-law kept all her kids toys, and some of it is vintage cool. She has that Fisher Price record player in the built in brown plastic carrying case, that plays the small coloured plastic "records" after you wind it up... And the Fisher Price cash register that took 5, 10, and 25 cent pieces, from which you could either make change, or put into the cash drawer for safe keeping. I have a picture of me at about 3 playing with ours on Christmas morning.

Games and puzzles are all the rage in our world these days. After investigating and dismantling the toys shelf this weekend, we found "Kerplunk" - in it's original box and everything. And it was every bit as fun as I remember. Not all good things are new things.
Talk to you soon.
